Chester and Chesterfield County
Chesterfield is Virginia's growth story. The county added more residents than any other Virginia locality from 2020 to 2024, and the Census Bureau estimates 397,148 people lived here in July 2025 (U.S. Census Bureau). New jobs are arriving too, including LEGO's 1.7 million-square-foot factory under construction in the county.
For Chester drivers, Haley Ford is the neighborhood dealer: close enough to drop a truck off for service and get back to work. The Haley Advantage's lifetime state inspections mean you come back once a year (or every two years on a new vehicle) and pay nothing for the sticker.
Qualified vehicles only; see dealer for details.
Midlothian and Richmond
Midlothian and the Route 288 corridor are where much of Chesterfield's growth has landed: Brandermill, Woodlake, Winterpock and the new neighborhoods off Hull Street. Our Midlothian page (coming Nov 5) covers drive times, used inventory and service drop-off. Families here shop three-row SUVs like the Explorer and Expedition and half-ton trucks that pull boats to Swift Creek Reservoir or the James River.
The drive is 25 to 30 minutes on Route 288, and buyers tell us it's worth it for three reasons. Out-the-door pricing is in writing before we talk payments. The Haley Advantage includes a 3-day return window and a 90-day limited warranty. And service, collision and Quick Lane are in one place, so one trip handles most of what a car needs.
From South Richmond and downtown, it's about 20 minutes south on I-95. That's often closer than dealers in the West End once you count traffic on the Powhite and the Downtown Expressway.
Colonial Heights
Colonial Heights sits about 10 miles south on I-95, a 15-minute drive. Many Colonial Heights customers come for service and collision repair as much as for sales, because the drive is short and Quick Lane needs no appointment. Our Colonial Heights page (coming Nov 2) has turn-by-turn directions and local FAQs.
Petersburg and Fort Lee
From Petersburg it's about 20 minutes north on I-95. Fort Lee, the Army's sustainment hub, is about 20 to 25 minutes away via Route 36. Service members on PCS orders often need to buy, register or sell on a short clock. Haley Advantage Rewards adds a 5,000-point bonus for military members, educators, first responders and law enforcement. Our Fort Lee car-buying guide (coming Nov 9) covers Virginia military registration and PCS timing.
Hopewell and Prince George
Hopewell and Prince George drivers reach us in 20 to 25 minutes on Route 10 or I-295. The river towns tow: boats to the Appomattox and James River ramps, work trailers to the plants along Route 10. That's why F-150 and Super Duty trucks lead what we sell to this area. Compare them in our Ford truck, SUV and EV guide.
